Large Format Photographic Works

The Art of Large Format Photography and Archival Printing

Our collection of photographic works by fine art photographer, Garth Meyer, was captured on large formats film ranging from 6x7, 4x5 and up to 11x14 inch negatives in size. A custom made 20x18 inch teak camera was used to capture images in remote locations around the world. The quality of 'traditional large format film photography' is still regarded as the best medium to capture images without compromising quality in grain and depth of field. The effort in taking such delicate but bulky equipment and media into remote locations is well worth it when you compare the results, making this collection of images extremely rare and historically valuable. The exquisite depth of detail afforded by these negatives allows photographic works to be produced in a range of forms including black and white hand custom printing, platinum palladium printing, lith printing and salt / cyanotype van dyke-brown printing on a range of archival art media. All Printing is done by world renowned Printing Experts, Dennis Da Silva and Andreas Kahlau of [  Silvertone International] and comes standard with a lifetime guarantee.
